Summary
Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea is about a scientist who believes there is a monster in the open seas. He and his faithful servant, Conseil, go to sea on a ship named The Abraham Lincoln. They go out to sea and strike the monster with harpoons several times but they hear a clanging sound and the harpoons bounce right back. But then, the scientist and his servant get thrown overboard with one member of the crew. They swim around until they find the monster and hang on to it until Captain Nemo, the builder of the machine (the monster), lets them inside. He shows them the many wonders of the sea.
