Summary

The Prisoner of Azkaban is about Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley. They find out Sirius Black, the thought to be killer of thirteen people, is after Harry. They try to catch Sirius Black with the Marauder's Map, given to them by Ron's brothers, Fred and George. The Marauder's Map tells you where everyone in the school is and secret passages out of the school to different places. Read to find out if Harry can catch Sirius.

The third Harry Potter book really caught my attention because, like all the other Harry Potter books, it is adventurous and crazy. And it has the best ending I have ever seen.

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

Title: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

Summary

This work of art by Mark Twain is about Huckleberry Finn, a boy with no parents who gets into a lot of trouble, and his friend, Jim, a slave to Huck's stepmother, Widow Douglas. Huck Finn escapes with Jim to Jackson's Island and is captured by his Dad, who everyone thinks is dead, but really is not. Huck finally escapes and finds Jim on Jackson's Island. They have some crazy adventures such as finding the King of France and the Duke of Paris. The King of France is always always looking for the "quick buck" and pretends to be a man named Mr. Wilkes. The Duke pretends to be a man named Uncle William, a deaf mute so they can get six thousand dollars from a man named Peter who left the money in his will to the real Mr. Wilkes and Uncle William. Read to find out if Huck can stop them from carrying on with this lie.

I am similar to Huck in many ways, we both are adventurous and we both like pirates. We are different because he hates books and never wants to learn to read, and I love to read and is why I am doing this website!

Superfudge

Summary

Fudgie is causing trouble again. This time in New Jersey he and his family have moved there for one whole year. Some of the crazy things he does: thinks his worm is a pet, when his mom has another baby (Tootsie) Fudge thinks he is charge of her and screams and kicks whenever Tootsie gets in his way. Read to find out if Peter can stop Fudge from clinging to trouble.

Superfudge is very funny and I like all of the Fudge books. I like Fudge because he is hilarious and does so many crazy things I think my head is going to explode from laughing so much.

Captain Underpants and the Wrath of the Wicked Wedgie Woman

Main Characters: Captain Underpants (Mr. Krupp), George, Harold, and Ms. Ribble (Wedgie Woman)

Summary

George and Harold are back, and this time they have hypnotized their mean old teacher, Ms. Ribble into thinking she was Wedgie Woman. She thinks she should capture Captain Underpants and take over the world. Wedgie Woman creates two robots who look exactly like George and Harold so it would trick Captain Underpants and take over the world. Read to find out if George and Harold can save the world from Wedgie Woman.

This book is a great work of comedy and I always like a good laugh. If you are sad and need some cheering up, I would really suggest this book.

Summary

Jim Hawkins is a boy who finds a treasure map to Treasure Island. He hires Doctor Livesey and Squire Trelawney to help him on his journey. He finds out part of his crew are pirates. When they get to Treasure Island there is a big battle to get the treasure. Read to find out if Jim and the honest crew can get the treasure from the dirty pirates.

This book is interesting to me because I enjoy reading about pirates and think they are interesting. Sometimes I think I can relate to Jim Hawkins because we are both the same age and we both love treasure.

I liked this book because he is my favorite all time baseball player, he has a great home run record, and he was friends with Babe Ruth.

The Hardy Boys, The Wailing Siren Mystery

Main Characters: Frank and Joe Hardy, Mr. Hardy, Chet, Biff, and Tony

Summary

Frank and Joe Hardy are at it again. Inside this mystery the Hardy boys sail out to sea in their boat, The Sleuth. They come upon a stolen wallet filled with money. The boys go to their father to find out if it has anything to do with his case. He said "yes" and told the boys they could help by going to North Woods to look for criminals. They find out Chet was carrying a truck with rifles for his uncle when they got stolen. They think the rifles are hidden in North Woods with the criminals. Read to find out if Frank and Joe Hardy can capture the criminals.

This book kept me awake because it was a great mystery, exciting and they kept on finding clues. They got closer and closer to solving their mystery which kept my nose in the book.

The Adventures of Captain Underpants

Summary

Inside this book, George and Harold are two fourth graders who have mean teachers. To make the best of it, they make jokes. At one point they get so bored they try to hypnotize Mr. Krupp, the principal, into being Captain Underpants. George and Harold find out if you snap your fingers, Mr. Krupp turns into Captain Underpants, but if you pour water on Captain Underpants head, he turns back into Mr. Krupp. Read as George and Harold find out having Captain Underpants as a principal isn't that fun.

What I really liked about Captain Underpants is how hilarious, funny, nutty and there is a lot of pooping, burping, farting, boogers and potty humor. I laughed out loud so much I thought my laugher was broken. I think you should read this book if you are big on comedy.

Summary

This book is about Harry Potter, who hears a rumor about "The Chamber of Secrets", and its master is turning people to stone. He finds out Ron's sister, Ginny, has the Chamber of Secrets master's diary. She writes in his diary daily and he writes back. This hypnotizes her into doing whatever the master tells Ginny to do. Read as Harry tries to save Ginny from the horrible spell.

This book is about Frank and Joe Hardy, who are detectives.  Their friend's Dad, Mr. Robinson, works at a mansion where the richest people in Bayport live.  The mansion gets robbed and the owner thinks the thief was Mr. Robinson.  Frank and Joe try to find the real thief because they know Mr. Robinson is innocent.  Read to find out who is the real thief.

The Tower Treasure is very adventurous and mysterious.  If you like mysteries you should read this book.

They go to their Dad's office while he is doing a Toddle Bike commercial, and the manager of the Toddle Bike company thinks Fudge is an actor and picks Fudge to be in the commercial. Peter gets jealous. Read as Fudge finds more trouble and Peter finds a new pet.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is about Harry Potter, a 10 year old boy, who grew up with normal people until Hagrid, Keeper of the Keys at Hogwarts, finds him and brings Harry to the School of Hogwarts. He finds out the School of Hogwarts is keeping the Sorcerer's Stone for the Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore's friend Nicolas Flamel. Harry suspects teacher Snape for trying to steal it, but really it is the Dark Magic Defense teacher, Quirrell, who is sharing faces with the ghost of Voldemort. Read the book as Harry attempts to save Hogwarts.
